So my background is journalism. I spent the best part of 20 years writing and editing for national newspapers. And I guess that gave me a bit of a headstart when it came to writing for two reasons. So first off, because I'm used to writing on demands, I don't get writer's block. If I have to write something in a particular time, I can generally pull it out the bag and not because I'm particularly talented,

but because I've created processes, I have a template, a framework for every style of writing that you can possibly imagine. And in the content kits that I've created as I'm recording this, I've currently got one for email lead magnets. I've got one for social media, my creators care. I've

got a launch content kit and also my business basics kit, which has some of the basics.

You really need the clues in the title for running a business like outreach emails to secure your first clients or to follow up with clients. Who've expressed an interest in working with you. And I do have episodes on those particular kits, which I will link to in the show notes, but the basic premise behind this care and all of them really is just to make your life easier.

As I say, as a professional writer who had to write on demand for years, I developed methods. So filling the gaps templates that I could use for planning, for putting together different types of content. And that's really what I'm sharing here with you in the kit. I know that I have a natural advantage and privilege as a professional writer. I know that it's not difficult for me to think about what order to say things in and what to put in an introduction what's put in a conclusion,

but I know that isn't always quite so easy for people who aren't professional writers. So that's why I've put these templates together, simple rinse and repeat processes that will save you a heck of a lot of time. And the templates are tried and tested on hundreds. What's put in paragraph one, paragraph two, paragraph three, and that's really evolved into these templates, which are now in my kits.
